Engine Protection
Our Powertrain Warranty protects your engine including all internally lubricated parts of a gasoline engine, such as pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, timing chains, and variable valve timing components. Additionally, non-internally lubricated parts like the water pump, fuel pump, valve covers, oil pan, engine mounts, and timing belt are also covered. Factory-installed superchargers or turbochargers, as well as seals, gaskets, and fluids, are included in this comprehensive protection. For diesel engines, the warranty extends to the diesel fuel injection pump, fuel injectors, and fuel lines. Hybrid engines receive additional coverage for the electric drive motor. The transmission coverage includes all internally lubricated parts for both automatic and manual systems. In automatic transmissions, this covers the pump, gears, valve body, and servo assemblies. Non-lubricated parts such as the torque converter, transmission mounts, and oil pan are also included, along with seals, gaskets, and fluids. For manual transmissions, the warranty covers the main shaft, gears, synchronizers, and shift components, as well as the transmission mounts.
